62% of White Women with no College Degree Voted for Trump
Why did so many white women vote for Trump? Weren’t Trumps past comments about women supposed to lead to his electoral defeat? Well it didn’t. Apparently white women are more concerned about racial solidarity than a female candidate for president.
Nonetheless, can you believe the opportunities available to African Nationalist at this time? We now have recent examples of non-race based approaches which failed African people in America.
For example, let’s take a look at the election of Barack Obama in 2008. Barack Obama, mulatto, received overwhelming support from African Americans. Indeed, African Americans were the king makers in the election. While the white vote split, African Americans supported Obama in large numbers and percentages because he was charismatic and “identified” as an African American.
As a historical unique geno-cultural group, African Americans highest voter turnout ever occurred in 2008.
In 2012 things changed. Many African Americans were apathetic about the Obama presidency. Job opportunities nor income improved but African Americans, fewer than 2008, decided to give it another chance. Many African Americans, especially black women said to themselves, “What do we have to lose?”
Well it seemed we lost a lot – lack of viable African American owned businesses, the black family is more fractured than ever, income equality is at record highs, and police brutality and assaults against black people by white people are up.
I could go on but the point is not to highlight the failures but to highlight the approach.
African Americans have a failed political approach. According to some exit polls. Caveat: Polls are not reliable. African American men voted 8 out of 10 times for Clinton while Black women voted for Hillary 9 out of 10 times.
What does it say to black women who seem to set gender above race that white women by a good margin voted for a misogynistic white nationalist.
It should tell all African Americans that gender never Trumps race.
